ALEXIS KAI PUPO
This is me
I earned my B.S. degree in Marine Science from the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Biology at Northern Michigan University studying fish behavior. I have extensive knowledge of the South Florida marine ecosystem, both from living there my entire life with a deep admiration and interest in wildlife, as well as with the classes I took at the University of Miami. I spent the first three months of 2020 in the Galapagos Islands, studying the flora and fauna through intense, field-oriented classes that further uncovered my passion for all marine life, particularly fisheries data collection and conservation. I am a first generation Cuban-American student, and can speak English and Spanish.
